As this is an insider's account, written from memory, it is probably a first.
I originally published "The Madhouse of Love" in 1993 under the imprint Tetrahedron Books and it received many excellent reviews in the small press scene in the UK, the USA and The Republic of Ireland.
My reasons for wanting to publish this book were because it is a subject that I believe has been very much neglected and I also believe that teenagers - particularly those in psychiatric care - should be given more of a voice.
It has now been re-published by the leading mental health publisher Chipmunkapublishing, edited by Jason Pegler, author of "A Can of Madness".
